Welcome to Region 29 of the Harley-Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain which covers North Wales & Shropshire. We’re delighted that you’ve found us! Use this site to discover more about our Region, Club and Federation.
Our region is one of 30 around the UK (the 29th to be set up!) We have our own Representative for the national Club – Al Lloyd and a committee of members you help run our region’s events and communications. You’ll find the motley crew ( aka the committee details below)
We are very active, enjoying lots of ride-outs at week-ends and some week evening; attending rallies across the country and overseas which are hosted by other regions and other countries; and we meet up in a number of locations across our region. Have a look at our Events tab to see what is coming up – you will be made very welcome.
Or you can just come along to one of our meet-ups and chat to some friendly Harley Davidson enthusiasts.
- The Shropshire meeting is the first Thursday of the month at the Wingfield Arms, Montford Bridge, Shrewsbury SY4 1EB from about 7pm.
- The North West Wales Coast meet is the second Sunday of each month at the Bryn Arms, Coed-Y-Llwyn, Gellilydan, Blaenau Ffestiniog LL41 4EN at 12.30 with option to have carvery lunch.
- The North Wales meeting is the third Sunday of each month is at the Swan Inn, Swan Ln, Gwernymynydd, Mold CH7 4AT from about 7pm.
- There is also a regular Friday afternoon get together at the White House Hotel, Wellington Rd, Muxton, Telford TF2 8NG from about 3.30pm and
- An all bikes Bike Night every Wednesday evening at The Tiddly (Royal Oak) Ellerdine Heath, Hazles Rd, Telford TF6 6RL

The Harley-Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain
The H-DRCGB was formed in 1949 and is one of the oldest Harley-Davidson Clubs in the world. It is also a member of the Federation of Harley Clubs Europe. It currently has about 1600 members split into regions across the country. The Club costs £25 per year to join and the benefits include;
- Issue of the club magazine, The Harleyquin, every two months

- A wealth of technical knowledge from members

Federation Harley-Davidson Clubs Europe
The FH-DCE is the largest community of totally independent Harley-Davidson Clubs (H-DC) in the world with 38.000 members in 120 clubs from most European countries. We are the only motorcycle enthusiast organization allowed to use the name and logos of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company, USA. Established in 1991 and in 2000 accepted under European law as an E.E.I.G., a European Economic Interest Group and therefore recognized and accepted under EU law. FH-DCE complies with EU standards with regard to its organization and the name FH-DCE Super Rally® and the FH-DCE logo are registered trademarks, owned exclusively by the FH-DCE member clubs. We are all genuine Harley-Davidson Clubs and we do not use the initials “MC" or the name “Motor Club" in our club names, and most of all we are the Federation who runs the yearly FH-DCE Super Rally® If you have any questions about membership or about FH-DCE activities, benefits and services, please do not hesitate to contact the FH-DCE Secretary Sakari “Sakke" Rantanen who will be pleased to help you. Latest Blog News
Riders within the region regularly organise ride-outs through out the year which are suitable for riders of all levels. Due to the beautiful North Wales countryside on our door step, a lot of them do tend to end up heading west towards the sea! But we have members that rider all over. We also attend rallies, and travel all over the UK and on the continent to events.
Region 29 has a healthy number of members, being one of the biggest of H-DRCGB, and we have a very social aspect to our club with our regular meets, ride outs, rallies and parties.
All members of H-DRCGB are entitles to discounts from our affiliates, us of the club too loan scheme, reduced rates to club rallies and a bi-monthly magazine. In addition you can avail yourself to a wealth of technical knowlege and help from members.
