Meet Your Rep – We thought it might be interesting to hear more about some of the faces in Region 29 and we are starting with our beloved Rep Al Lloyd. He told us some enlightening facts, one of which we are pretty sure not many of you will know!

  1. When and what was your first two wheeled vehicle?
  2. My first was a Lambretta Sand Vespa when I was 15 years old; and I’ve probably had about 20 scooters over the years.
  3. When and what was your first H-D bike?
  4. My first H-D bike was a Night Train which I bought in 2003.
  5. When did you join H-DRCGB and when did you become our Representative?
  6. I joined H-DRCGB in 2010 and have been the Rep for 7 years (I think!)
  7. What is the best thing about the Region in your opinion?
  8. It’s the people that make the Region and it makes my life as the Rep easier with a good team behind me.
  9. Tell us something not many people will know about you
  10. Before being a ‘Scooter Boy’ I was in a punk band. I played drums and there are still video tapes available of the group playing!!

Thanks Al!

We are looking for ideas for autumn now –

Go karting?
Travel to another region’s meet?
Let us know what your idea is and we’ll try our best to arrange
It’s nice to get a wide range of contributions to the Harleyquin, but if you don’t do it, it can’t get in, So get out there and tell us about it – even better, save a few photos that don’t go on Facebook so they can premier in the Harleyquin. Do a write up for us, or send us a few notes and we’ll draft it. Send them directly to Glyn or Trish.
